Deep in the rolling mountains of Western North Carolina, a tribe of Cherokee men gathered for a sacred ceremony. The tribal women were excluded. A young wife is bursting with curiosity and decides to disguise herself by draping a cougar skin over her back and crouching behind some trees so that she may hear the tribal elder’s words. His eyes meet hers and he becomes enraged. He draws on the power of the forest and curses her to wear the cougar skin forever.
As fate would have it, the forest spirit was a feminine energy and decided to bless the inquisitive young woman with immortality, super strength, and an unshakeable fierceness.
Instead of slinking into the shadows and giving up, the newly evolved Wampus Cat uses her cougar power to explore all of her curiosities and seeks nightly revenge on all humans that attempt to limit women.
Print is shipped safely with acetate sleeve, title card, and backing board.
